STUDIO ETIQUETTE
Please arrive at least 5 minutes early. This allows time for a prompt start and time to settle into the space before you begin your movement rituel.
What to Bring: A water bottle and small towel, especially for strength classes.
Grip Socks: These are mandatory for ALL Ritual Movement classes. If you forget yours, you can purchase a pair in the studio for $25.
Equipment: All mats and equipment are provided for your use.
Injuries/Pregnancy: Please inform your instructor of any injuries or if you are pregnant before the class begins.
Late Arrivals: For your safety, all classes begin with a warm-up. Rituel Movement takes no responsibility for any injuries that might occur due to being late and insufficiently warmed up. For the enjoyment of all participants, please ensure you allow enough time to park and get settled on the mat before class begins.
Mobile Phones: As a courtesy to others, please keep your mobile phone switched off or on silent and stored in the locker area during the class. Please only attend to your phone after the class is finished. Smart watches must be turned to silent mode.
No shows: we understand that life can happen and plans can change, but as our classes are limited in size and in high demand, if you are unable to attend, please late cancel with as much notice as possible so that someone on the waitlist may attend instead. Late cancellation and no-show fees apply for members and visits forfeited for pack holders.

Rituel Movement is a considered movement studio rooted in the discipline of classical Pilates, elevated through a modern lens on functional movement. We approach Pilates as a complete system — one that builds strength, precision and resilience so that the body doesn’t just move well in the studio, but in all areas of your daily life. Our studio offers reformer, mat and studio equipment classes, alongside performance-driven Strength formats, underpinned by the ethos that movement is a daily rituel to balance the mind and build longevity in the body.

You must be cleared by your OB or GP in order to start exercising again. This can vary depending on your individual situation but generally speaking a minimum of 6 weeks post birth if there are no complications.
We also strongly recommend a women’s health physio check post birth, and prior to joining classes, to examine pelvic floor and diastasis recti.
Once cleared, we recommend starting with our studio sessions or Baby & Me classes. From there, you can join the other group classes.
